Loss of InnocenceAn angel sits, curled in her chair, There's little else to do. She looks up to the stars above And wishes on a few.Loss of Innocence
Her wings hang limp upon her side, Her eyes well up with tears. Her mem'ries taunt and tare her mind And surface all her fears.
She'd ne'er wished bad on boy nor girl, She'd never harmed a soul, Yet here she sits upon a chair Her wings no longer whole.
Teardrops fall now from her eyes, Onto the dusty floor, And here she sits, wings ripped apart, Her thoughts are hers no more.
